You can now download a printable prediabetes screening tool in both English and Spanish from the CDC’s website - look for the Download the Quiz box in the bottom right hand corner of this page. The risk test in Spanish is something that Common Ground members have requested in the past. You can use this tool at events to identify people who may be eligible to participate in your program, based on CDC recognition standards.
Also, there is a brand new Marketing Resources section on the CDC’s website with resources to help you with outreach efforts to participants, health care providers and employers. The materials contain focus-group tested messages and language that you can plug into your own organization’s materials. You will find articles, talking points, fact sheets, press releases, social media content and a PowerPoint presentation.
